All religions are basically the same??

Perhaps this statement is a unique contribution of misguided tolerance. Certainly it’s a conversational obstacle when you want to encourage someone to become a Christian. But it’s not just Christians who have a problem with it. There are even Buddhists and Hindus who object.

A Buddhist website:“’Dalai lama urges Christians not to convert to Buddhism’. There is something extremely disheartening about the Dalai Lama, or any other religious leader, saying that all religions are the same. They are not.”

A Hindu website:“The concept that “All religions are one” as propagated by Gandhi incessantly is the most destructive concept that is affecting us all. It is not only silly but dangerous fallacy to propagate the idea that all religions are one.”

That gives us an opportunity to show how Christ uniquely claims to be the only way to God. Check out this week’s blog to learn how to respond to someone who says all religions are the same.

And don’t forget to take the opportunity to pray for your non-believing friends. remember ur GoFish card?

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 NIV
