The Harvest Is Ripe!

The time has come. We are VERY near our hour of a mighty spiritual awakening in our faculty.

I've just come out of a prayer meeting of waiting upon God and seeking His face, and He has impressed upon me very strongly that WE ARE SO NEAR REVIVAL. With so much that's happened this year - the many people in medical/dental/nursing who have been burdened for intercession, the visions and confirmations to so many individuals on separate occasions, the daily prayer meetings before and after school and the breakthroughs in evangelism and unity amongst Christian groups, we've been relentlessly looking for a time of breakthrough and asking the Lord to reveal His purpose for the faculty to us.

To those of you who've been burdened for revival, whether you're a 1st or 5th year medical student, whether in dentistry or nursing, whether prof or doctor... whether you've been burdened only in the recent weeks, or a year ago, or even 10 years ago, God is telling us that He will answer all our prayers, that THIS IS THE HOUR for revival. The time is NOW for us to unite in fervent intercession for our faculty, to pick up our spiritual weapons, to begin to commit whole-heartedly and press on until we see breakthrough, because it is at such a time as this that we have been promised: WE WILL SEE REVIVAL IF WE PERSEVERE.

We WILL see many in our faculties turning to Christ, lives being transformed, people repenting & desperately seeing their need for God, Medical, Dentistry & Nursing faculties being changed in extraordinary ways by God's power, NUS being impacted for Jesus... even people whom you'd never have dreamt of receiving Christ into their hearts doing so.

There will be a Harvest Rally on Thursday, 25th Jan, which will be a rallying call, a sounding of the trumpet to gather ALL Christians in Medical, Dental and Nursing faculties (students, profs AND doctors), to unite as one, to seek His face and pray for our land.

Let's spread the word to all Christians in Med/Den/Nur faculties together... Let's prepare ourselves to meet up with God, keeping the Harvest Rally and our faculties in prayer.

Details of the rally:
Date: 25th Jan 2007 (Thu)

Lord, hear our cry
Come heal our land
Breathe life into these dry and thirsty souls

Lord hear our prayer
Forgive our sin
And as we call on Your name
Would you make this a place
For Your glory to dwell

Open the blind eyes
Unlock the deaf ears
Come to Your people
As we draw near
Hear us from heaven
Touch our generation
We are Your people
Crying out in desperation

Hear us from heaven
Hear us from heaven
Hear us from heaven

this rally... is about gathering people who believe in the power of prayer, who believe in calling unto God for a work bigger than the sum of ourselves, for an outpouring of God's Spirit which God has already promised to us.
when revival tarries, it is not cos it's not time yet... but more that His people are not ready for it yet. God had wanted to bring the Israelites into the promised land... but they were not ready as a people to inherit that Promise...
will we ready ourselves to inherit what God has instore for us? this is our time. will we rise up to lay claim? we will get down on our knees?

on call LIFEMEETING

our first LM of the year 2007! It also happens to be the 2nd last LM of this academic year, b4 we break for the dreaded exams! So come, encourage one another, and be encouraged. Let us also be reminded of the reason God placed each of us here today, not just to study and pass exams, but to be a light for Him wherever we are, so that His name may be glorified. Missions exist because Worship doesn’t. We look forward to the day when all nations will come b4 Him and worship Him endlessly. :)

hear from Dr Joel Khoo, dentist, ex Student Coordinator, veteran missionary, and Victor Lu, full time Christian worker who will be going to EA.

Jesus Take the Wheel - Carrie Underwood

Jesus take the wheel
take it from my hands
cos i cant do this on my own
i'm letting go
so give me one more chance
save me from this road i'm on
oh, Jesus take the wheel

Who is Jesus?

i think we r all on path to destruction. we kinda self-destruct... seriously.

look at yourself... dun u have times wenu look at yourself n have to admit dat not juz life sux, u yourself sux too? we love to be in control... but seriously... we have to admit we are more often outta control than we'd ve liked. man! wat's d hella wrong wif us??!

we make more mistakes than we've liked. n we tot we'd get it right this time... this time... imean, we keep at it long enuf we wld've driven off the bridge! n we tot being adults we've gotten it together... now we wish dat one day we would... get it all together, dat is... would we?? now, would we?

n we insist that no one should tell us how we should live our lives! like we noe better... do we? if we dun, y is it dat we resist on not hearing out d very One who can show us wat IS better?

Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth and the life..." and "my peace i leave with you... i do not give you peace like the world gives..."

listen 2 the song again... click on the "Who is Jesus?" n find out what else He's said... u really dun have anything to lose...

if u r a Christian n life still sux... u really need get outta driver's seat... n noe dis:

Will any road do? “All religions are the same.” Part 1

Student2student blog... check it out!
http://student2student.campuscrusadeforchrist.com/blog/?p=13

are world religions all the same?
http://www.everystudent.com/features/connecting.html

All religions are basically the same??

Perhaps this statement is a unique contribution of misguided tolerance. Certainly it’s a conversational obstacle when you want to encourage someone to become a Christian. But it’s not just Christians who have a problem with it. There are even Buddhists and Hindus who object.

A Buddhist website:“’Dalai lama urges Christians not to convert to Buddhism’. There is something extremely disheartening about the Dalai Lama, or any other religious leader, saying that all religions are the same. They are not.”

A Hindu website:“The concept that “All religions are one” as propagated by Gandhi incessantly is the most destructive concept that is affecting us all. It is not only silly but dangerous fallacy to propagate the idea that all religions are one.”

That gives us an opportunity to show how Christ uniquely claims to be the only way to God. Check out this week’s blog to learn how to respond to someone who says all religions are the same.

And don’t forget to take the opportunity to pray for your non-believing friends. remember ur GoFish card?

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 NIV
